About Me
I’m a placemaking consultant that helps clients like Google/Jamestown, RXR, NYCEDC and others shape emerging neighborhoods and launch real estate and hospitality concepts that are culturally relevant and commercially viable. My expertise is in crafting positioning strategies — using marketing, activations & partnerships, through to anchor leasing —to turn properties into places, giving them distinctive identities that attract the right tenant mix and define neighborhood character.
In parallel I lead Brand Urban’s Placemaking division, which I founded. I also support clients I am excited about as a commercial broker, helping landlords and tenants navigate strategic leasing decisions.
I’ve found that the best placemaking support comes from those who’ve built real brands, and the best leasing advice comes from those who have real dealmaking experience. In my almost 20 years of experience, I have done a lot of both — having held leadership roles at Urby, Youngwoo & Associates, and Fernando Romero Architects, building expertise in real estate marketing, retail strategy, and business development.
